Chef Jaime Porras’ playful approach to the culinary arts can be traced to his childhood, when his innate fine motor skills helped him excel in painting, sculpting, and even embroidering.  His budding sense of aesthetics was encouraged by his parents and kindled a lifetime passion for creativity.  As an adolescent, his mother’s small cafe taught him that flavors were his favorite palette.  His father, a truck driver, supported him and guided him towards completing an education as a Master Chef.  As an avid learner, Jaime’s travels through Costa Rica have let him feature the diversity of its regional dishes.
